Synflex 1500 also adds an additional anti-imfammatory herbal ingredient White Willow Bark. White Willow Bark dates back to the 5th century BC and was noted by Hippocrates to reduce fevers, easing aches and pains. The active ingredient in White Willow Bark is Salicin. Today's widely used aspirin is derived from Salicin. This is the main reason this product should not be given to pets, especially cats.
Synflex 1500 is orange flavored, comes in an 8 oz. bottle and requires a daily dose of 1/4 oz. Each bottle should last 1 full month making the cost of this high quality product very affordable. The manufacturer of Synflex does recommend that those beginning a glucosamine regimen, take a double dose for the first 10 days to jump start the process. Dosing can be done once a day or split into a morning and evening dose. Storage and Dosing |
Synflex products do not need refrigeration after opening. Synflex will naturally darken in color with age so if you prefer the light amber color, we have found that you can slow this process dramatically by refrigerating unopened bottles. In the picture of Synflex 1500, you can see a reservoir under the left cap. This has markings for 1/4 and 1/2 oz. measurements making dosing very simple. Just squeeze the bottle and and the tubing along the left will fill the marked reservoir.
